I’m a native “Powegian” that graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor’s of Science in Quantitative Economics. From there I got started in the life insurance industry as a top salesperson. I went on to attain several securities licenses (still active) where I specialized in high net worth estate planning and money management. A job transfer to the Bay Area caused me to flip my first house for a profit – well before “flip” was relevant term in the industry. Thus, my love for real estate was born. In the Bay Area I began a career at the executive level in business development, sales and marketing with several Silicon Valley companies. My next move in real estate was building our custom family dream home. While doing that I got my Master’s in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. At which point a serendipitous job transfer brought me back to San Diego, where I attained my real estate license.
My unique background brings an entirely new approach to the real estate industry. Buying and selling a home has become a major financial decision. Studies show that in 2015, home equity represented 58% of a person’s net worth, and is projected to be 64% in 2020. You have to ask yourself, “Would I hand over $2M of my 401(k) to just anyone?” It’s imperative to work with a real estate professional that understands the numbers involved with such a transaction. In my business, clients are viewed as family members where it’s far more important to make financial sense, than it is to just be part of the transaction.
I specialize in the Inland Valley Corridor, and Coastal Regions of San Diego County.
